BBNaija housemate, Liquorose, has quarreled with Sammie over a dirty pot. The ugly incident happened today at the love garden.
The reality star also stated that what triggered her was that she asked who used the dirty pot, and Sammie snubbed her as if she is stupid. She asked what stopped him from washing the pot immediately after he finished cooking.
Sammie, on the other hand, explained that he didn't respond because he was eating. He stated that he planned to wash the pot as soon as he finished eating. He also used the same opportunity and revealed that Liquorose overreacted.

It might interest you to know that Liquorose is currently the Head of House (HOH). She complained a few days ago that housemates are not loyal to her leadership. However, Sammie is among the six housemates who are currently up for possible eviction on Sunday.

It is no secret that Angel and Sammie have grown so close since they entered the house two weeks ago. Many even predicted they would become a couple in the house as they have been sleeping on the same bed.
Things however took a different dimension on Sunday, August 8 when Angel decided to kiss KayVee during a truth or dare game they had.
This did not go down well with Sammie who felt disrespected by Angel's decision. He mentioned this to his friends, White Money, Boma, and others. He said he held Angel in high esteem until she also touched KayVee's private part during the truth or dare.
''I should be jealous of course. She touched somebody. You don't even know this guy from nowhere. He only came in yesterday. She should have touched Saga or Boma.

Things however took a dramatic turn last night when Angel said she overheard him slut-shaming her for her decision. She confronted him and an argument ensued between them.
She told him she is not in a relationship with him and ''can kiss whoever she wants to kiss''.

An angry Sammie responded ''Very confused human being''
Angel immediately fired back ''I am not confused. I know what I want and it is definitely not you. It is not you. You literally slut-shamed me''
Sammie while discussing with the other guys in the room described Angel as ''My girl''.
An angry Angel then responded ''I am not your girl. We didn't put a label on it. Stop calling me your girl.''
Angel mentioned that she is somebody that Sammie has been chasing and he responded ''I am no longer chasing you''.
Sammie later had a conversation with his male housemates where he said ''I was jealous. She has a nice bum, nice breasts. I shouldn't be jealous?''
She later had a talk with Cross and Yousef where she stated that she can be with anyone she wants to be with since she is not with him.

She expressed her displeasure at the ladies who were laughing as Sammie allegedly slut-shamed her.
Sinohydro workers emback on an indefinite strike
When speaking with one of workers. He said, “ The company has reduced about 400 workers last month without any benefit given. Only their wages and annual leave was given which was not right by the law when it comes to redundancy. Thus, the personnel manager claimed to have given redundancy benefit to the labor union which I’m telling you nothing was given to them apart from their wages and their annual leave”.
The laborers appoint ten workers to represent them to sit with the board manager instead of the union chairman because they noticed that there is something fishing between the labor chairman and the company’s director.
After the meeting, the ten man committee disclosed that the company have being giving out series of benefit to it workers through the labor union, which nothing was given to the workers by the union.
In our interactions with some of the workers about the disclosed benefit, we get to understand that the company gave out about ₦321M to support it workers during COVID-19 lockdown for the period of six to eight months which was not given to workers.
Benefits such as end of the year bonus, sallah bonus, chrismax bonus, work accident allowances are all being slash into 1/3% where only 1 out of 3 is giving to workers by the personnel.
In our effort to know more about the benefit and the pay-off, one of workers told our reporter that, “There is no any agreement between the company and it’s workers” said, by the company.
The security personnel and the ten man committee are during there best to ensure a peaceful protest so as to avoid lost of lives and destruction of properties. And hoping that the EFCC and human right will come to their aid.
About 90% of the remaining workers have fill a resignation form due to comments made by the personnel manager saying that, “Those whom are still interested to work should resumed back to work, while those whom are not interested should resign”.
Our reporter is also adding that even the remaining 10% of the workers whom haven’t fill the resignation form were those whom have traveled home or due to the form was not enough for every one.
The union chairman and his cabinet are on the with the looted money. While the company and the workers are requesting for their present on Monday 9th of August, 2021 to investigate and look for a way forward.
Idoma 2021 international carnival
The Idoma International Carnival is set to return with a bang following its break in 2020 due to the coronavirus pandemic.
Organisers of the show, adjudged to be the biggest carnival on the southern flank of Benue Valley had suspended the fiesta in 2020 due to the hardship that accompanied the COVID-19 lockdown.
Consequently, the organisers postponed the show and decided to give back to the society.
To fill the void, the founder, Prince Edwin Ochai, hosted a special charity edition tagged ‘Ohigbu K’ Achoalo” (For the sake of our people).
The charity brought relief to the underprivileged across the land as they went home with foodstuff including rice, yam, groundnut oil, palm oil and noodles.
In a statement on Friday, Chief Ochai said Idoma International Carnival would hold from 23rd to 26th December, 2021 in Otukpo, Benue State amid bigger and better funfair.
“It is a known fact that the yearly fiesta, which we started eight years ago has been adjudged as one of the most sought after events for lovers of culture, tradition, fun, ideas, travels, trends and fashion.
“The carnival was inspired by a common desire to showcase the rich Idoma cultural heritage and her tourism potentials globally, while attracting investment opportunities to the area.
“It has no doubt attracted notable Nigerian industries, organisations, corporate entities, grounded arts and social personalities. It is a money-generating product, a youth empowerment platform and an innovative entrepreneurship project.
Established in 2013, the Idoma International Carnival is a four-day unity and tourism driven carnival which features contemporary and traditional entertainment events.

The Hisbah Commission for the Promotion of Islamic Teachings in Kano State has finally reacted to the dress worn by Zahra Nasir Bayero, the daughter of the Emir of Bichi, during her bridal shower.
Zahra Nasir Bayero is to wed Yusuf Buhari, the son of the President of Nigeria, Muhammadu Buhari.
For her bridal shower, she wore a figure-hugging lacy white dress that was transparent around the shoulder and arms. She also went without a head covering and this raised dust as people questioned why the morality police in northern Nigeria has been silent about her mode of dressing but will not hesitate to ''punish'' poor Muslims if they wear a similar outfit.
Nigerians accused Hisbah of being biased in favour of the children of rich Muslims.
Responding, Hisbah commander Sheikh Harun Ibn Sina told the BBC that the Sultan's daughter is not above the law and should lead by example if she wants to be blessed in her marriage.
Ibn Sina also criticized those spreading the photos and videos of Zahra Bayero in the dress, saying it was a crime to spread such images.
